About Us

Ned Reade

Experience the World in Your Own Backyard!

Music can transport our minds and souls to far off places. Witness the concerts in this Series: We travel with Donal Fox and the Inventions Trio from the baroque of Scarlatti and Bach in Naples and Weimar, to jazz at Lincoln Center, to Monk and Coltrane.

With Jeremy Denk and his "Visions of Mozart," we hear the music of the courts and salons of Vienna and how it influenced Debussy in Paris, Stravinsky in Russia…well, we should let Jeremy and his violinist colleagues explain.

From Glasgow and Edinburgh to London and Salisbury, the Baltimore Consort will perform English and Scottish music as well as tunes from the Appalachian hills of America in the December concert.

The Camerata RCO from Amsterdam – seven members of the great Dutch orchestra - travel to us to perform as a chamber ensemble. They love the intimacy created by the smaller size and the energy that they draw from one another, and you will, too.

And then the blues come to town in April! Davina and the Vagabonds - who hail from the Twin Cities in Minnesota, and play in clubs from Memphis to New York City - will bring a swagger to Pawling. Davina and her group - trumpet, trombone, stand-up bass, drums and the keyboard - will have you on your feet.

When you subscribe to the Pawling Concert Series, you treat yourself to an adventurous world tour and the excitement of hearing live music at its best.

Please give what you can beyond your subscription level so others can enjoy these concerts at affordable prices!

Warmly, Ned Reade
